It is with great sorrow that the family, announce the passing of our family matriarch, Anna Grant, née Vienneau of Riverbank Drive, Bathurst NB at the age of 72, on Easter Sunday April 21, 2019. Anna passed peacefully in her sleep after a long and courageous battle with illness.  She was born in Newcastle, NB and was raised in Saint-Anne, Gloucester Co, just outside of Bathurst NB.

The daughter of late Arthur Vienneau of Chatham NB, and Thérèse Doucet of Saint-Anne NB.

Anna, a loving Mother, Wife, Sister, Cousin and friend will be best known for her love and care for others in her life. She was a woman who always put everyone else’s needs before her own. She was a lover of life and though wise in her later years, was very much able to hold on to the fun-loving little girl that was always inside of her. She often expressed her love for flowers, music, dancing and warm summer days. She would often reminisce about stories of her childhood playing in the farm fields and woods in Saint- Anne with all of her cousins and friends.

She loved her family tremendously especially her children, grand-children and great-grandchildren. She also loved all of her friends who supported her through her life and especially in her last few years. She always had a smile when friends would call or stop by for a visit.

Anna is survived by her husband of 52 years, Christopher Allen Grant of Bathurst, her Children, Kathy Hill (Brian) of Salt Lake City Utah, Eileen Grant (Keith) of Winnipeg MB, Stephen Grant (Suzanne) of Moncton NB, Jason Grant (Janine) of Saint-Anne NB, Tracy Grant of Bathurst NB, Michelle Groundwater (Tommy) of Miramichi NB and her loving foster son Stephane Pitre of Bathurst NB. She leaves also her loving siblings; Arthur Vienneau (Annette) of Saint-Anne, Gilbert Vienneau (Murielle) of Saint-Anne, Rita Willet (Gary) of Bathurst, Carmella Vienneau of Pierrefonds, Montreal and Diane Vienneau (Yvon) of Laval, Quebec.
