Beresford - Mrs. Lise Bossé-Blackett, 63, wife of David Blackett, of Beresford, passed away on Friday September 25, 2020 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
Born in Edmundston, she was the daughter of the late Roger and Sadie (Daigle) Bossé.
Lise worked as a registered nurse for most of her life.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two children: Jonathan Doucet of Toronto, ON and Jessica Doucet (Guillaume Gionet) of Dieppe.
Two step-children: Kimberly Duguay (Dean) of Beresford and Mark Blackett of Bathurst.
One brother, Jeannot Bossé (Dianne Parents) of Edmundston.
Two sisters: Ginette Goyette (Rick) and Suzanne Bossé (Daniel LeBlanc) both of Bathurst.
Several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by a sister, Francine.
The family would like to thank the staff of Oncology Department and Palliative Care Unit of the Chaleur Regional Hospital for the excellent care given to Lise.
There will be no visitations at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday October 2, 2020 from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, Bathurst by invitation only. Donations in memory of Lise may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donors choice. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
