Bathurst – Mrs. Rachelle (Losier) Dupont, wife of the late Michel Dupont, of Bathurst, passed away, surrounded by her family, on Saturday March 27, 2021 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 75.

Born in Tracadie, she was the daughter of the late Napoléon and Rita Losier.

She is survived by three children and their families: Julie Dupont (Vincent Bonanno), grandson, Thomas and granddaughters: Andréa and Camélia of Dorval, QC, Nathalie Dupont (Éric Généreux) grandsons Charles and Mathieu of Lorraine, QC and François Dupont (Julie Morin), granddaughter Isabel and grandson Sébastien of Dunlop.

Also survived by her sister, Néola Brown (Gary Peters), several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by a brother, Renaud Losier (1998).

She was retired from Service NB and was a stenographer for the Provincial Courts in Bathurst.

The family will receive relatives and friends for a public visitation on Tuesday April 6, 2021 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhattons.com) Social distances measures will be in effect. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from the Sacred Heart Cathedral by invitation only.

Rachelle and family would like to thank Dr Anne-Renée Lagacé for the care and compassion given during this difficult time, nurses Karina Doucet and Cindy Couturier for their availability and comforting presence.

Donations in memory of Rachelle to the Canadian Cancer Society of a favorite charity would be appreciated by the family.
