Bathurst – Paul White, of Rough Waters Dr., passed away at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, on Sunday May 30, 2021, at the age of 51 years.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Roger and Yvonne (Chamberlain) White.

He worked for Junction Lumber for over 21 years. Loved his job and liked his working companions and his boss very much.

Paul had a great passion for baseball and darts he could watch baseball all day long, which he did until the end. Family and friends meant everything to him. He will be missed so very much.

He is survived by five siblings: Marie Couture (Johnny), Lina Godin (Yvon), Danny (Monique Morais) and Richard all of Bathurst and Annette Comeau (Mario) of Petit-Rocher.

Four nieces: Wanda Frenette more of a sister than a niece, whom Paul relied on for a great deal of support through his sickness, she took great care of her beloved uncle, Jennifer, Emily, Michelle-Annie one nephew, Jason whom Paul had a lot of affection.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Marc.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Palliative Care Unit and Oncology Department of the Chaleur Regional Hospital. It was heartwarming to witness the exceptional care and thoughtfulness that everyone showed Paul.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at a later date.

Donations in memory of Paul can be made to the Palliative Unit of the Chaleur Regional Hospital or to a charity of your choice.
