It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Mary Anna Vienneau, wife of the late John Vienneau (the Fiddler), formerly of Raymond Avenue (College Hill), Bathurst, NB, which occurred on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Bathurst, at the age of 96 and 10 months.

Born in Tracadie, she was the daughter of the late Damien «Dan» Robichaud and the late Angéline Basque.

She is survived by her son, Steven, daughter-in-law Nancy, grand-daughter Stephanie (Keith Mallet) of Bathurst, and grandson James, his wife Kim and great-grandchildren, Emily and Joshua of Lakeside, NB.

She also leaves behind her brothers Aldéo Robichaud (Thérèse) and Wilfred Robichaud (Lina) and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son Jean-Claude (John) Vienneau as well as her brothers and sisters Gilberte, Ola, Dalia, Lorraine, Jean-Baptiste, Alice, Rita, Théodora and Côme.

Steven, Nancy & Stephanie would like to sincerely thank the nurses, care givers and staff at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, especially for their care and support during the last few days when she was in Palliative Care.

There will be no visitations at the Funeral Home. A private funeral service will be celebrated from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.

Donations in memory of Mary Anna may be made to the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes or a charity of the donor’s choice.
