It is with heavy hearts, that we the family, announce the passing of Ronald “Ron” Good, husband to Lorraine Boudreau-Good, which occurred after a lengthy battle with several health issues at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on Wednesday February 9, 2022, at the age of 78. He was the son of the late Ervine and Rella Good.

He leaves behind his wife Lorraine Boudreau-Good and her three children: Lina (Patrick) of Granby, Qc., Stephan (Mylène) of Drummondville, Qc., and Nathalie (Isaac) of Ymir, BC.

He was predeceased by first wife, Macrina “Cathy” Pitre and is survived by her children: Greg (Germaine) Blanchard of Beresford, Lynn Plourde of Bathurst, Louise (Rheal) Lavigne of South Tetagouche, Stephen (Carol) Blanchard of Etobicoke ON., and Roger Blanchard of Beresford.

Three sisters: Dawn (Harold) Jenks and Joan (late Wayne) Cumming both of Ottawa, ON, and Judy Smith of Edmonton, AB. Three nieces: Cindi, Tina and Stacy.

Several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

Ron, as he was known to his friends, lived a quiet and simple life. He adored the outdoors, fishing, hunting, skidooing and camping. He was an honest and caring man with a beautiful soul. He will be forever in our hearts and remembered.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at the First United Church by invitation only. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home, Bathurst. (www.elhatton.com). Donations in the memory of Ron can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
