Nigadoo - Léandre « Léandar » Boudreau, husband of the late Marguerite (Comeau) Boudreau, of Nigadoo, passed away on Friday August 25, 2023, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 98.

Born in Nigadoo, he was the son of the late Norbert and Hannah Jane (Guitard) Boudreau.

He is survived by ten children:  Colombe Arsenault (Réjean) of Middle River, Philippe (Carol Pellerin) of Bouctouche, Hector (Rachel Arseneau) of Tetagouche Sud, Réjean (Suzanne Chiasson) of Bathurst, Bernard d’Ottawa, Denis (Josée Dauphinais) of l’Ile Perrot, QC, Yves (Lynda Lachance) of Shelby, South Carolina, USA, Charles (Rita Urbishi) of Chelsea, QC, Charline Boudreau (Michel Lavoie) of Gatineau, QC and Jules (Linda Comeau) of Nigadoo.

16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Two brothers-in-law:  Père Hector Comeau of Québec, QC and Philippe Comeau (Rosa) of Bathurst.

Several nieces and nephews.

He was the last surviving member of his immediate family of 12 children.

There will be no visitations at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday August 31, 2023, at 11 a.m. from Église St-Polycarpe, Petit-Rocher. Donations in memory of Léandre « Léandar » can be made to a charity of the donors choice. Arrangements are in the care of Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford.
