It is with great sadness that we the family, announce the passing of Gerald Gerry « Bay » Mallet, husband of the late Carmelle (Frenette) Mallet, of Bathurst and formerly of Petit-Rocher, which occurred accidently on Thursday August 31, 2023, at the age of 86.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Henri and Stella (Cormier) Mallet.

He is survived by three children: Melinda Mallet, Marc Mallet (Lisa) and Daniel Mallet (Colleen).

His grandchildren: Antoni, Chloé, Lauren and Adam.

Three sisters: Jeanne Richard (Yves), Edna Mallet-Park (Reed) and Mona Bottomley (Gary).

Several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents and spouse, he was pre-deceased by several brothers and sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel, (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst, on Monday September 11, 2023, from 1 p.m. until funeral service at 2 p.m.
