Bathurst - Mrs. Theresa Chamberlain, 82, wife of Theophil Chamberlain, of Chamberlain Ln, Bathurst, passed away peacefully on Saturday (March 4, 2006) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness. Born on June 11, 1923, in Beresford, she was the daughter of the late William "Billy the Cook" and Eva (Vienneau) Daigle. She was predeceased by one sister (Irene Rena Heckman) in 1982 and one great great grandson (Liam) in 2004. She will be sadly missed by: Her husband; Theophil (Phil) Chamberlain One daughter; Bertha Daigle of Bathurst One adopted daughter; Dorrina Laplante (Eugene) of Bathurst Six grandchildren, Eva Mae, Rose Marie, Linda, Theresa, Mickey and Billy. Fifteen great-grandchildren, thirteen great great grand children and many nieces and nephews. There was no visitation at the Funeral Home. A Funeral service was held on Tuesday morning (March 7, 2006) at 11:00 a.m. from Sacred Heart Cathedral, St.Andrew St., with Father Wesley Wade officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Family Cemetery in the spring. For anyone wishing to send tokens of sympathy, donations to a favorite charity would be apprciated by the family.
