It is with great sadness that we the family of Mrs. Mida Boucher, wife of the late Omer Boucher, formerly of Bathurst, passed away on Wednesday May 28, 2025, at the Villa Sormany in Robertville, at the age of 96.

Born in Caraquet, she was the daughter of the late Michel Dugas and the late Regina Thériault.

She is survived by her only son, Réjean (Reg) Boucher (late Deborah) of Bathurst; her granddaughters: Jill Boucher and Jennifer Boucher, both of Ottawa, Ontario and a great grandson, Edison.

She is also survived by her brothers: Isidore Dugas (Edwidge), Gérard Dugas (Albertine) and Patrice Dugas (Lucille Légère), all of Caraquet; her sisters: Claudette Boudreau of Caraquet, Adrienne Ethier of Montréal and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Gisèle and Jeanne.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A celebration of life will take place from the Elhatton Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 28, 2025. Donations in Memory of Mida may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
