Robert Francis Gallagher passed away peacefully at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst on Monday August 11, 2025, after a brief illness, surrounded by loved ones, at the age of 44.

Born in Bathurst, Robert resided in Janeville in his beloved grandmother’s house. He was predeceased by his parents, Jerry and Ann Gallagher, and his grandmother, Violet Sullivan.

He will be deeply missed by his brother, Jeremie Gallagher (Tia), niece Kelsey Gallagher, nephew Jayden Gallagher, and Cousin Kelvin Sullivan, along with extended family members and friends.

Robert will be remembered for his quick wit, strong will, deep love for his family, passion for playing Pokémon, fondness for Pepsi, and his hearty laugh.

The family will receive relatives and friends at 9 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 10a.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home, 187 St. George Street, Bathurst, on Saturday, August 16, 2025.

Donations in memory of Robert may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation and a charity of the donor’s choice.
