It's with great sadness we, the family, announce the death of Barry (Eugene) Boucher.
He passed away on August 17,2025 after a lengthy illness. He died peacefully in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Barry was predeceased by his parents Eugene Boucher and Jeanette (Vienneau) Boucher.
He is survived by twin siblings Donny and Donna Boucher, both of Moncton, N.B.
Barry was gentle person who had a wandering spirit, crossing Canada many times. However, he fell in love with British Columbia and resided there many years.
He enjoyed listening to music and playing his harmonica and guitar. A favorite time of year was hockey playoffs where he cheered on the Montreal Canadiens. He'll be sadly missed by many people.
A heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Central city lodge for being so kind. Especially Anne Thomas for the care and understanding towards Barry.
As per wishes there will be no funeral service. A burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery in East Bathurst at a later date. Donations in memory of Barry may be made to the Canadian cancer society.
