With sadness we wish to announce the death of Frances Cecilia Wilbur. She passed on September 13, 2025, at Kennebec Manor in Saint John, New Brunswick at the age of 94.

Celia was born in 1931, in Big River, N.B., to Percy and Greta (Black) Wilbur. She is survived by her nieces Mary Alma Smith (late Guy), Dorothy Constable (late Dave), Marilyn Morgan (late Stephen), special grand niece Kimberly Wilbur and several grand nieces and grand nephews.

Besides her parents Celia was predeceased by brothers Harvey (late Mildred), Clarence (Hong Kong POW) and Angus (Hong Kong POW), sister Madonna and nephews Percy Wilbur (Norma) and Clary Wilbur (Jayne).

There will be no visitation and a funeral service will be held at a later date with interment at St. Theresa Cemetery in South Bathurst, N.B. The family would like to express a sincere “thank you” to the staff at Kennebec Manor who cared for Aunt Celia with love and kindness for the past eight years.
