Mary Priscilla Daley (Pitre) of Towerhill Ave., Bathurst, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, October 6th, 2025, at the age of 86, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in South Tetagouche, she was the daughter of the late Henry Pitre and Isabelle (Young) Pitre.

Mary was a devoted wife to the late Robert (Bob) Daley and a loving mother and homemaker to her children. She was deeply involved with her church community and an active member of the seniors group at Evangel Pentecostal Church.

Mary is survived by her six children: Ann Roy (William), Robert Daley Jr. (Paulette) and Jeffery Daley (Tania) all of Bathurst, Pastor Danny Daley (Debbie) of Innisfail, AB, Sandra Davidson (Danny) of Kyle, SK and Nancy Barlow (Andrew) of Homer, Alaska. 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild. One sister, Gert Christie of Bathurst, several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by an infant son, Joseph, siblings Dorthy (Dot) Gauthier, Ella Guignard, Leo Pitre and Lawerence Pitre.

There will be no visitations at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held on Friday October 10th at 11 a.m. from the Evangel Pentecostal Church.

Donations in memory of Mary can be made to the Extra Mural Program or a charity of the donor's choice.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Mary’s caregiver, Brittany, for her compassion and care, and to the Extra-Mural Program and medical team for their kindness and support to Mary and her family.
