It is with sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Walter Caissie, which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on Tuesday October 7th, 2025, at the age of 65.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the Late Alexander Caissie and the late Sarah (Hachey) Caissie.

He leaves behind his dear friend Simonne Doucet of Bathurst.

Eric Lavigne of Bathurst who was like a son to him.

Sisters: Geraldine Boudreau (late Conrad), Sharon Couture (late Louis), Eva Mae Caissie (David Losier), Louise Roy (Edgar) all of Bathurst, Jean Hopkins (Clifford) of Newfoundland and Mary Lambert (late Wayne) of Simcoe, Ontario.

Brothers: Reginald Caissie (Nicole) of Bathurst and Paul Caissie of Moncton.

Many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brothers Blair, Mitch and Frank.

As per his wishes there will be no funeral service.
