Petit-Rocher, NB – Mr. Georges Lanteigne, formerly of Petit-Rocher, passed away Thursday, October 23rd, 2025 at the Résidence Mgr. Chiasson in Shippagan at the age of 86. He was the spouse of the late Marguerite Mae (Doucet) Arseneau.

Born in Miscou, he was the son of the late André and Elizabeth (Sivret) Lanteigne.

He is survived by two stepchildren: Bonnie Arseneau of Ottawa and Debbie Arseneau of Beresford.

One step grandson, Yannick.

He is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Armand Lanteigne (Jeanne Thérèse) of Bathurst, Simonne Lanteigne and Alexandrine Lanteigne (Robert Dionne) both of Montréal, Qc, Jacqueline Lanteigne and Denis Lanteigne (Émeline Ward) both of Miscou.

As well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides his spouse and parents he was predeceased by two stepchildren Marjolaine and Nicole, his sisters: Jeannine Briket and Véronique Robichaud and one brother, Arthur.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 2 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025 at Heritage Funeral Home, (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford. There will be no funeral service.

Donations in memory of George may be made to the SPCA or a charity of the donor’s choice.
