Bathurst- It is with profound sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Rolande (Lavoie), wife of the late Elmer Roy of Bathurst, which occurred on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025, at the age of 82.

Born in Rimouski, Quebec, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Alexinia (Martin) Lavoie.

Rolande is survived by her children: Cathy Russell of Miramichi, Linda Hickey of Campbellton, Omer Roy, Raymond Roy, and Danny Roy all of Bathurst; grandchildren: Craig, Justin, Megan, Nicole, Melissa, Jason, Kelsey, Ryan, Spencer, and Kahler; as well as serval siblings, nieces, nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by serval siblings.

A graveside service will be held at the St. John the Evangelist Cemetery on Friday, November 14th, 2025 at 11 a.m.

In memory of Rolande donations may be made to the St. John the Evangelist Cemetery Fund or a charity of one’s choice.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of Elhatton Funeral Home, Bathurst.
