Marjorie White, 96, of Bathurst, passed away on Friday, November 14th, 2025 at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Mary Ethel (Imhoff) White.

She lived most of her life on Riverside Drive. Marjorie worked at W.J. Kent’s on Main Street as well as at Eddy’s. She loved golfing, sports, reading and walking with friends. She knitted hundreds of baby caps for newborn babies with her friends for various hospitals.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, Ruth White as well as several nephews and nieces.

She was predeceased by her parents; three brothers, Alphie, Aurele and Leon. Three sisters; Edna St-Amour (late Roger), Leona Connely (late Ray) and Carmel Nixon (late Len).

Visitation will held on Wednesday, November 26th, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst, followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. from the chapel.

Donations in memory of Marjorie may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
