South Tetatouche - With celebration of a life well lived, we the family announce the passing of Kenneth Leaman of South Tetagouche, which occurred on Monday December 29, 2025 at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes at the age of 89. Born in Stoney Creek, NB he was the son of the late Fred and Ada Leaman.
Besides his wife of 68 years, Bette (Smyth) Leaman, he is survived by his daughter Emerald (Fred Eddy), sons Jeffrey and Randy (Daphne) all of Bathurst.
11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
2 sisters: Barbara Cormier (Garfield Brewster) and Doreen Steeves (late Joseph)
Several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by daughter Cynthia Roy and brother Glendon Leaman.
Ken was a member of the RCAF for 32 years. He loved curling, golf, snowmobiling and hunting in the fall with his buddies.
The Family would like to thank the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes for the excellent care given dad.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Monday January 5th, 2026, at 2 pm from Elhattons Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
