Richard Joseph LeCouter, 84, of Bathurst, NB, passed away peacefully on February 25th, 2026, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital. Born to the late Loretta (LeCouter) Lavigne. He is predeceased by his sister Pauline and brother Paul.

He is survived by his four children: Shane, Colleen (Daniel Mallet), Terry (Jenny Delichte), and Wendy (Paul Kenny); and by his four grandchildren: Lauren and Adam Mallet, and Dylan and Ryan Kenny.

Richard will be remembered and missed by those who knew him.

Funeral mass will be held on Friday March 6, 2026, at 2 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, Bathurst. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home, Bathurst (www.elhatton.com).
