The family of Carl Lennox of Bathurst, NB, would like to announce that our beloved Carl passed away peacefully at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on March 1, 2026, at the age of 79, surrounded by his loving family from natural causes.

Carl was born in 1947 and raised in a small town called Omemee, Ontario. He grew up enjoying many adventures with his older brothers, Bruce, Roger, and Duncan. As a young man, Carl answered the call to serve and joined the Canadian Navy, where he proudly sailed the seas and traveled the world.

While stationed in Halifax, NS, Carl met the love of his life, Paulette. It was later on he chose to leave naval life and begin their life together in Bathurst, NB, building a family. There, he built a long and respected career as an industrial electrician at Brunswick Mines, where he worked faithfully for nearly 35 years.

Carl and Paulette shared 53 wonderful years of marriage, grounded in faith, love, and devotion. Their children, Colin (Rachel), Paul (Catherine), and April (Adam), were their greatest pride. Carl’s joy only deepened with the arrival of his cherished grandchildren: Ian, Elliot, Elise, Ava, Victoria, and William. He prayed for them daily and took great delight in each of their lives. His children and grandchildren will forever be grateful for his steady guidance, unwavering faith, and the example he set as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to his dedicated care team, the compassionate staff of the palliative care unit, and Pastor Andrew Bauer for their support and comfort during Carl’s final days.

A celebration of Carl’s life will be held on Tuesday, March 10th at 1:00pm at Evangel Pentecostal Church, 150 Basin Street, Bathurst — a place he lovingly considered his second home since 1986.
