Donald Legacy, husband to Yvonne Legacy, passed away on Tuesday April 7, 2026, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital at the age of 86.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of Vincent Legacy and Dora (Couture) Legacy.

He is survived by his children: Linda Ferron (late Marc) of Beresford, Bobby Legacy (Colleen), Paul Legacy, Lisa Legacy, Marcel Legacy and Daniel Legacy (Michelle) all of Bathurst.

Eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will take place on Tuesday April 14, 2026, from Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m.

Donations in memory of Donald may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home, Bathurst.
