Dunlop - It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of peace that we announce the passing of Ronald Frenette on April 24, 2026, at the age of 72. Following a long battle with Parkinson’s, Ronald passed away at his home, surrounded by the warmth of his surroundings and the deep love of his family. He chose a path of dignity and grace as he transitioned from this life.

Born in Beresford, Ronald lived a quiet and meaningful life. He was a man who found immense joy in simple pleasures, whether he was tinkering in his workshop with his tools, playing his guitar, or spending time with his little furry friend Miley. To those who knew him, Ronald was someone who could fix almost anything. More importantly, he knew how to make the people around him feel supported and safe. His hands were rarely still, and his heart was always open to those he loved.

He leaves behind his devoted wife of 45 years Denise LeBlanc Frenette. Together, they built a life defined by laughter and hard work. She was his partner in every sense of the way. He also leaves behind his daughter Tiffany Vaillancourt (Kaven), his grandson Kyle, as well as his furry friend Penny; he was so incredibly proud of them all.

Ronald was survived by his sister-in-law Monique Branch (Ken), mother-in-law Marguerite LeBlanc (late Roger), and his siblings Jean-Marc Frenette (Shirley), Jovette Haché (Jean), and Denis Frenette, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Gerald and Jeanne Frenette and sister Wendy.

While our home will be quieter without his presence, his spirit remains in every corner of the life he built. We find comfort in knowing he is no longer in pain and that he left this world exactly as he lived in it on his own terms with dignity and wrapped in love.

We would like to thank Mallais Home Care. Caregiver Nathalie (whom he called his second wife) and Roland, who both gave great support to Ronald and the family.

A private gathering to celebrate Ronald’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford. Donations can be made in Ronald’s memory to Parkinson Canada or to an animal shelter of your choice.
