Bathurst - Leona Dobson, died peacefully in her sleep on October 2nd, 2026, at the Foyer Notre-Dame-Des-Lourdes at the age of 90.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of late Augustin Arseneau and the late Elizabeth (Ward) Arseneau.

She was the wife of late Charlie Dobson.

She is survived by her three sisters, Marjorie Hachey (late Gerard) from Bathurst NB., Anita Searle of Riverview NB. and Florence Arseneau (late Gerald) from Bathurst.

She is also leaving behind many nieces and nephews.

Beside her parents and husband, Leona was predeceased by her brothers Sylvio Arseneau and Romeo Arseneau.

Leona was deeply loved and will be missed. She will be remembered for her love of gardening, her kindness and the special love she shared with her sisters.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will be celebrated from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel, Bathurst, on Tuesday October 13, 2026, at 2p.m.

The family would like to thank the Foyer-Notre-Dame-Des-Lourdes for their devotion toward Leona.
