Pabineau Falls - John Hachey, 68, of Pabineau Falls, beloved husband of the late Priscilla (Couture) Hachey, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday (September 12, 2006) at Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst after a fight with cancer. Born in Bathurst and raised in Toronto, he was the son of the late Alexander and Margaret (Carroll) Hachey. He was a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Bathurst, Council 1935 and a 4th Degree member of the Msgr. Wheten Bathurst Assembly 0605. He leaves behind: Two daughters: Michelle Hachey and Lorraine McDonnell (Gerry) both of Toronto. Three step-daughters: Nancy Boudreau of Bathurst Susan Boudreau (Doug) of Cannington, ON Donna Boudreau (Alvin) of Edmonton, AB As well as 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, 26 nieces and nephews. Two sisters: Sheila Pacaud (Ron)of Pabineau Falls, NB Carolyn Saville (Lou) of Toronto, ON Three sisters-in-law; Theresa, Joanne and Suzanne. Two brothers-in-law; Vincent and Jean-Paul. He was pre-deceased by a sister, Clara Hachey. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning (September 16, 2006) at 11:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Church, South Bathurst. Burial will be in St. Theresa cemetery.
