Bathurst – Harriet Carter, 59, of Bridge St., Bathurst, passed away on Saturday (September 23, 2006) at the Bathurst Regional Hospital Center after a brief illness. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Gertrude (Sawtell) Carter. She is survived by: One brother: Milton A. Carter of Toronto, ON Four sisters: Evelyn, Carol, Helen and Jessie all of Bathurst Several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by brothers; Robert, Donald and William. The body will rest after 7:00 p.m. Monday at the Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday afternoon (September 27, 2006) at 2:00 p.m. from the St. George’s Anglican Church, King Ave., Bathurst, with Rev. Roderick Black officiating. Burial will be in the St. Alban’s Anglican Cemetery, Bridge St. Visiting hours are Monday from 7 to 9 and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. For anyone wishing to send tokens of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to the St. George`s Anglican Church, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a favorite charity.
