Beresford - Leon Robichaud, 86, of Beresford and formerly of Hamilton, ON, passed away suddenly on Saturday (October 28, 2006) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in St-Léolin, he was the oldest of 6 children and was the son of the late Honoré and Elizabeth (Chiasson) Robichaud. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the Royal Canadian Army in Canada. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Eveline (Hachey) Robichaud. He will be sadly missed by his 8 children: Yvonne Farraway (Clare), of Hamilton, ON Wilfred Robichaud (Donna) of Hamilton, ON Rita Betts (David) Betts, of Savage Harbour Prince Edward Island Theresa Greville (Donny) Greville, of Hamilton, ON Oreal Robichaud (Cathy) of Hamilton, ON Norman Robichaud, of Hamilton, ON Micheal Robichaud (Jeanette), of Hamilton, ON Linda Compton (Doug), of Hamilton, ON His sister and brothers: Jeannine Trickey of Ottawa, ON Anita McQuillen (George) of Montreal, Que. Conrad Robichaud (Violet Landry) of Beresford, NB 15 Grand Children and 21 Great-Grand Children, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 2 sisters; Germaine and Corrine. The body will rest after 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Service will be celebrated on Wednesday afternoon (November 1, 2006) at 4:00 p.m. from the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Hamilton at a later date. Visiting hours are Tuesday at the Funeral Home from 7 to 9 and Wednesday at the Funeral Home Chapel from 2:00 p.m. until time of Funeral. A Legion Service will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.
