Bathurst - Perley S. Smyth 54 of South Tetagouche, passed away suddenly on Friday (March 2, 2007) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in South Tetagouche, he was the son of Loretta (Good) Smyth and the late Sanford E. Smyth. He worked as a farmer all of his life. He was a member of the South Tetagouche United Church and a member of the Bathurst Agricultural Society No. 3. He was the beloved husband of Sandra (Lavoie) Smyth, and adored father to: Vanessa and Denver, both at home His mother Loretta Smyth of South Tetagouche One brother: Roland Smyth (Jeanine) of South Tetagouche Two sisters: Betty Murphy (Patrick) of Bathurst Beverly Branch (Murray) of Nepisiguit Falls, NB Several nieces, nephews and cousins The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held on Monday (March 5, 2007) at 2:00 p.m. from the South Tetagouche United Church. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery in the spring. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
