Bathurst - Clifford Kennah, 85, of Orser Dr., Bathurst, passed away Sunday (December 2, 2012) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Charles and Loretta (Legere) Kennah.

Clifford started his career in family business with the former DeGrace Hotel and later was the owner-operator of the former Wild Goose Tavern. Member of the Bathurst Sports Hall of Fame with the Bathurst High School Hockey Team (1945-46) and the Bathurst Papermakers, member of the Bathurst Curling Club, Gowan Brae Golf & Country Club. He was also an avid outdoorsman.

Besides his wife, Elvera (Doucet) Kennah, he is survived by two sons: Robert "Bob" (Brenda Boucher) of Keswick Ridge, N.B. and Peter (Karen) of Bathurst.

Two daughters: Beverly Arseneau (Tom) and Debbie Guidry (Lorn) both of Bathurst; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Two sisters: Mildred Stovin (Stan) of Lindsay, Ont., Sr. Stella Kennah, sister of Charity, Halifax; several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday (December, 7, 2012) at 11 a.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst, with a reception to follow in the Church Hall.

Donations in memory of Clifford may be made to Chaleur Regional Hospital Foundation or a charity of the donors choice.
