Big River - Mrs. Marguerite Chiasson, 92, wife of Alexandre Chiasson, of Big River, which occurred Thursday (January 6, 2005) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness. Born in St. Isidore, she was the daughter of the late Jean-Baptiste and Marie (Arseneau) Smith. She is survived by her husband, Alexandre Chiasson, One son: Donald Chiasson of Big River Four sisters: Thérèse Noel (Victor) of Hacheyville, NB Suzanne Smith, Delphine Smith and Adrienne Goulain (Maurice) of Montreal, Que. One grandson, Michel (Nadia), one great-grandson, Nathan Patrick, several nices and nephews. She was pre-deceased by sisters, Kate, Lise, Lauza, Béatrice, brothers, Jean, Michel, Adelard, Ruffin, Wilfred and Patrick. The body is resting at Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning (January 8, 2005) at 11:00 a.m. from St. Theresa Church, South Bathurst.
