Bathurst – Monique Gauthier of Bathurst, passed away on Saturday June 1, 2019 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 55.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Aldin and Dorothy (Pitre) Gauthier.

She is survived by her spouse, Alyre Roy.

Four sisters: Patsy Gauthier (Simon Savoie) of Moncton, Ginette Gauthier, Evangeline "Line" Gauthier Ross, Juliette Caissie (Maurice) all of Bathurst.

Four brothers: Edward Gauthier, Raymond Gauthier (Mireille Thériault), Ronald Gauthier, Remi Chiasson (Kelley) all of Bathurst.

Several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers: Lawrence, Chesley; three sisters: Macrina Pitre, Diane Legacy and Yvette Gauthier.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday June 6, 2019 from Sacred Heart Cathedral.

Donations in memory of Monique may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
