It is with heavy hearts that we, the family, announce the passing of our dear Marc André which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst on Sunday July 3rd, 2022 at the age of 55.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of Lionel and Patricia (Comeau) Hachey.

Marc André worked many years as an LPN at the Chaleur Regional Hospital. He faced ongoing health issues for most of his life. Marc André was known to be a very kind and a generous person.

Besides his parents of Bathurst, he is survived by two brothers: Michel of Regina, SK., Eric (Louise Lavoie) of Edmunston, N.B. and one sister, Caroline (Patrick Eddie) of Bathurst.

Six nieces and nephews that he loved very much: Denham, Caitlyn, Maxime, Jérémie, Pierre-Olivier and Vincent.

Many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents: Adelard and Rita (LeBlanc) Comeau and paternal grandparents: Henri and Albina (Roy) Hachey.

The family wishes to thank the nurses of the Extra Mural Program and the staff of the Chaleur Regional Hospital for the excellent care given to Marc André.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday August 11th, 2022 at 4 p.m. from Holy Rosary Church, Bathurst.

Donations in memory of Marc André may be made to Crohn & Colitis Canada, the Chaleur Regional Hospital foundation or a favorite charity.
