Jeannette Roy, wife of the late Philippe Roy, passed away peacefully with family at her side, Monday, July 28, 2025, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, at the age of 93.

Born in Petit-Rocher, she was the daughter of the late Henri Arseneau and the late Marguerite (Lejeune) Arseneau.

She is survived by two sons: Jean-Marc Roy (Orise) and Camille Roy, both of Petit-Rocher.

Two daughters: Michelle Roy (Guy Martin) of Pointe-Verte and Monique Roy of Bathurst.

Grandchildren: Tania, Christian, Émilie, Nadine, Jessica, and Steven.

Great grandchildren: Gabrielle, Anthony and Olivier.

Her sisters-in-law: Thelma, Eleanor, Dorina and Noella.

She rests with her sons Daniel ‘Danny’ (2023), Allen Roy (2025) and her daughter Denise (2024). Her siblings: Adrien, Augustin, Leo, Edmond, Roger, Gerald, Leandor, Raymond, Fernand, Yvonne, Patricia and Auxilia.

Jeannette spent a lot of time volunteering at the residence Vienneau, she helped organize bingo events and set up for the masses. She had a great sense of humour and a passion for knitting, making sure every family member had a pair of her socks.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 5th, 2025, from 1:30 – 3:30 with prayers at 3:30 p.m. from Heritage Funeral Home, Beresford.

Donations in memory of Jeannette may be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
