Fred Gauthier, 93, formerly of South Tetagouche, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in South Tetagouche, he was the son of the late Albert and Catherine (Gauthier) Gauthier.

He is survived by two sons: David of South Tetagouche and Michel of Gatineau, QC and a daughter, Claudia Gauthier of Bathurst.

Eight grandchildren; Melanie, Melissa, Mario, Jennifer, Yann, Fanie, Jazlyn and Rebeka. 12 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a grandson, Jonathan and 3 sons: Eloi, Jean-Paul and Benoit.

There will be no visitation or funeral service. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
