It is with sadness, the family of Frank Arseneault, announces his passing on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst at the age of 75.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Norman and Patricia (Dunn) Arseneault. He was married to the late Anna Roy.

He is survived his only and cherished daughter, Cheryl Ann (Jean-Sébastien LeBlanc) “John” whom he loved like his own son.

Beloved grandchildren, he adored and was so very proud of, Kamylle Eve (Olivier Hache) and Kalen “Mr. K”.

He was predeceased by his brother Andrew and is survived by his “favorite” sister Jane (Bob Landry). As well as many special nieces, nephews and cousins.

Frank worked for the City of Bathurst.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A private graveside service will be held at the cemetery in the spring.

In memory of Frank, donations can be made to the Volunteer Center or the Homeless Shelter.

Special thank you to the staff at Manoir Oasis de la Baie, for all the love, care and compassion shown to Frank. He truly loved all of you for making him feel at home. Dr. Marie-Andrée Arseneault, Dr. Rebecca Arseneau and to the Extra-Mural, as well as the doctors and staff at Palliative Care for the excellent care given to Frank.
