SINGER, Beth - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Beth Singer, our family's matriarch.

Beth passed away peacefully at Chaleur Regional Hospital in New Brunswick on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, surrounded by her loving family after a brief yet valiant battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 82.

Beth was a devoted wife to Richard Singer for over 62 years. She was a cherished mother to Darryl and Scott, adored mother-in-law to Erica, Laurie, and Maxelle, proud grandmother to Jacob (Meghan), Bennie, Leora, Kaitlyn, Libby, and over-the-moon great grand-mother to Owen. Beth's love of people and her passion for Mahjong paved the way for her to make friends wherever she went. Within months of moving to Bathurst, New Brunswick 4 years ago at age 78, after a lifetime in Montreal and Toronto, she was right at home and will be missed by the many new friends there who felt they knew her forever.

She made everyone she met feel welcomed and ensured nobody ever left her table hungry.

May her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.

Beth is also survived by her siblings Marty (Lisa), Jerry (Lynne) and Natalie (Stan).

The family would like to acknowledge and thank the wonderful staff at Chaleur Regional Hospital for all their assistance and terrific care over the past three months.

Lastly, our deepest gratitude to Beth's exceptional care team, Dr. Thibeault and his team, pharmacists Sarah and Katie, and the amazing staff from Extramural for their outstanding care and compassion.

At Beth's request, service and Shiva are private. A Celebration of Beth's Life will be held at a later date in Bathurst, New Brunswick.
