It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of “Jackie” John Earle Morrison, spouse to Colleen Gray, which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on Sunday May 17, 2026, at the age of 72.

Born in Bathurst he was the son of the late Earl Morrison and the late Margaret (Jeffers) Morrison.

He leaves behind his two children: Raymond Gray (Gabriella) of Shediac and Nicholas Gray (Savana) of Bathurst. One grandchild: Amilya.

Three siblings: Mary Boucher (late Robert), Patricia Imhoff (Robert) and Dale Morrison.

Several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother Brian.

Jackie was a truck driver for 42 years. He worked for Armor, Trimac, Kenny Jenks and Maritime Ontario. He was an avid car fan. Owning an antique car collection which included a 1972 Grand Torino, he loved to go for drives.

Funeral service will be held on Friday May 29,, 2026, at 2p.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home, Chapel. Donations in memory of Jackie may be made to the Bathurst S.P.C.A or a charity of the donor’s choice.

Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home, Bathurst.
