Bathurst – Mrs. Alma Couture, wife of Vincent Couture, formerly of Bathurst, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday July 26, 2026, at the Villa Sormany, Robertville, at the age of 78.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Aloysius and Cécile (Legacy) Roy.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two children:  Denise Couture (Denis Turbide) of Bathurst and Bruno Couture (Denise Bouchard) of Moncton.

One sister, Denise Roy of Oshawa, ON.

Several nieces and nephews. 

Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by two brothers: Gérald and Richard.

There will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in memory of Alma can be made to the Alzheimer Society or a favourite charity. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
