Bathurst – Mrs. Rose Marie Pitre, wife of late Cyprien Pitre, formerly of Bathurst, passed away on Thursday July 30, 2026, at the Villa Sormany in Robertville, at the age of 76.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Cecilia (Boudreau) Vienneau.

She is survived by four children: 

Bobby Pitre, Kevin Pitre, Steven Pitre and Elizabeth Pitre all of Bathurst.

Three grandchildren. 

One brother, Robert Vienneau (Catherine Duguay) and sisters: Evangeline Hachey, Marie-Ann Boucher, Yvette Gauthier, Claudia Landry (Jean-Noël Bouchard) Regina Couture and Lise Roy (Jacques).

Several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband and parents, she was pre-deceased by a brother, Claude Vienneau (Barbara), six sisters: Roberta Vienneau, Annette Boudreau, Anita Pitre, Bridget Lavigne, Marie-Jeanne Vienneau and Angelina Thibeault.

There will be no visitations or funeral service. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
