Sandra MacKenzie (née Theriault), 74, of Bathurst, New Brunswick, passed away peacefully on Sunday September 20, 2026, with her family by her side at the Chaleur Regional Hospital.

Sandra was born in 1952, in Bathurst, to the late Vitaline (Cormier) Theriault and the late Marcel Theriault. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Richard, her children, Vicki (Bruce Denis) and Jody (Robert Morehouse) and her three grandchildren, Lauren, Logan, and Cameron. She is also survived by her siblings Eldon, Lorraine, Nelson, Sharon, Claudette and Roger. 

She was predeceased in death by her sisters: Jeannine, Rose, Betty and Juanita and her brother: Omer.

A private ceremony will be held at her burial site. Donations in memory of Sandra may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
